Snacks I Recommend Buying at Osaka Expo 2025
Share
If you're visiting Osaka Expo 2025 and want to bring home snacks that are actually worth trying, here are three I personally recommend. All of them are high-quality, easy to carry, and make great souvenirs or treats for yourself.
1. Cha no Ka – Uji Matcha Langue de Chat
A refined Kyoto biscuit filled with rich Uji matcha cream, sandwiched between two crisp langue de chat cookies. It’s not overly sweet, and the matcha flavor is deep and smooth.
You can find it at the souvenir shop near the East Gate. It’s available in a few different box sizes, so it’s easy to fit in your bag or suitcase.
2. Regional Kansai Souvenir Box
This is a build-your-own snack set featuring 8 different snacks from famous Kansai brands. The selection includes specialties from Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and Kobe. The box presentation is clean and simple, and it's perfect for anyone who wants to sample multiple local flavors without buying full-size packages.
You can make your own box at the souvenir shop near the West Gate.
3. Kit Kat Double Cream Raspberry Flavor
A rich and fruity version of Kit Kat with thick raspberry cream and a smooth texture—closer to a dessert than a standard snack. The packaging is unique and Expo-themed, making it a great choice for gifting.
This flavor is being sold at the Switzerland Pavilion (スイス館). If you can’t make it to the Expo, I’ve also made it available here:

If you're planning to visit the Expo, all three of these snacks are well-made, nicely packaged, and easy to carry home. They’re great for gifting—or just enjoying something special yourself.
